MBMC co-directors Drs. Simon Bacon and Kim Lavoie will serve as jury members for the 2019 Manulife Prize for the Promotion of Active Health. The prize is valued at $50,000 and is offered each year by McGill University to a Canadian academic whose research has contributed to understanding how factors such as physical activity, nutrition, fitness, or psychosocial context can influence personal health and well-being. Jury participants are selected for their important national or international research implications related to active health.
