Health status prior to the COVID-19 pandemic

Q: To your knowledge, has a doctor or healthcare professional told you that you have any of the following health conditions?

Health condition prior to COVID-19

Nearly 1 in 3 respondents had a health condition that put them at risk for complications of COVID-19. Approximately, 1 in 10 people had a depressive disorder and 4 in 25 people had an anxiety disorder.


 

Type of region people live in

Q: In what type of area do you live?

Respondent living environment

The majority of respondents, just over 8 out of 10, lived in an urban / city or suburban area (84%).


 

Income Level

Q: What is your perception of your average annual household income relative to others in your country?

Half of the respondents considered themselves in the middle third of household incomes in their country (50%).


 

Sex of participants

Q: How would you describe your sex?

More than 2 out of 3 of the respondents were women (69%).


 

Level of education

Q: What is your highest level of completed education?

The majority of respondents, just over 3 out of 4, had some form of university degree (78%).
